JURIS MANTE

My dear roommate, Juris left yesterday. Now I'm left to suffer the grimness of our pink room that used to be so full of her scandalous laughter. She was correct when she said that one day I will become paraplegic minus her in my life. Afterall, she has been my psychiatric nurse. She is accountable for whatever I have become for the last three months. If I tell you what she has done for me and what "successes" I have benefited from her presence, you will thank her for because of those things, I'm still alive.

I don't know if she's ever coming back. All I know is that I spend coffee and nicotine time alone now.

I just wish she'll decorate the entire Mante household with the right colors for Christmas. The last time I checked, she was panicking because the town plaza was all lighted up for Christmas and their house wasn't. Goodluck, gurl! Merry Christmas! Hope to see you soon.

SLEEPY ME

I slept for only an hour and had to go to work. Could not get myself to sleep because a surprise came up yesterday morning. I had to talk to somebody about it, so I used my lifeline- I called a friend (lol). He was probably more elated than I was because he was determined to celebrate about it. Ingon man siya bangka siya, so walay duha-duha, GO dayon ko. We watched National Treasure. I'm not going to say my piece about the movie because it didn't impress me at all. There! Ni-comment diay gihapon. :-)

I went home at around 5pm and forced myself to bed.

So that's my story for Thanksgiving Day.

Glad I'm off from work. Time to spread myself all over my bed.

Hello!

Hi! It's been a while since I posted something here. I just don't know what to write. I've got a lot of things going on right now. Just so I can update this blog, let me write my favorite music videos so far.

Vertigo-U2
-awesome swirling effects and of course, need I say more? It's U2, man!

Karma-Alicia Keys
-I like the song. It's edgy. I don't know exactly where they shot the video, but I think they did it in Greece or Rome based on the architectural designs on the background. It looks like an arena or something. To put a contrast to it, they also shot some scenes in a subway ( I guess in New York).

Welcome To My Life-Simple Plan
-their songs are simple, but go straight to the heart. The video is shot on a bridge where everybody was stuck for God knows how long and why. The video doesn't tell. It's so emotional. That's to describe it generally. (ayaw katawa sharon)

Tilt Ya Head Back-Cristina Aguilera and Nelly
-new sound. You can dance to it, close your eyes or just get inspired by it. The video is sexy, but not slutty or tacky. Nelly looks good. Cristina's look says "high-maintenance".

Just Loose It- Eminem
-this better be 2004's best video. Yup! Eminem does it again. The video defines music video entertainment.

A Little Romance

How many people get very lucky on a Halloween weekend?By that, I mean lucky to spend one whole night with his/her crush.(ok, "object of desire") -ALONE. (gasp, gasp...di na ko kaginhawa).

We watched a movie on dvd, talked endlessly...then, the moment came (unexpectedly). He said he's been wanting to kiss me all night. He began stroking my hair and told me again that he wants to kiss me. Guess how I reacted? I said, "huh?" So for the third time he said he wants to kiss me. I noticed that morning light was beginning to creep in the window, so I said "Hey, look! Buntag na, gotta go to the washroom. See you in a bit." (toink!)

I can't believe I'm turning 29 and I could still turn into a wimp. Now, I'm left wondering how good a kisser he might be. But, I believe in second chances. So maybe it was a good idea to just let it slip. Basta kilig ko spur of the moment or not. So, way magbuot.

Training Days

On sales training this week. It's a pretty relaxed state I should say, compared to taking calls. It could sometimes get dragging though. I even chatted online at one point and of course jabber. Some of my friends have gone to training for Experian. Aren't they lucky? Well, I don't know, the perks are in sales. So maybe I'm luckier. Boracay's pretty enticing. Who knows Disneyland could be next.

Got Ashlee Simpson's CD. I got tired of it after two days. I even left it with Jin. He sang along with me so I knew he liked it. It's not as melodically challenging as I thought. But Ashlee's vocals are great.

Saw the trailer of Johnny Depp's new film. He plays J.M. Barrie, the playwright of Peter Pan. I swear his skin is in the same place as it was 15years ago. He dropped the tousled hair and mustache in this movie, so watch out. He'll sweep you off your feet. Playdate in the Philippines is still uncertain.

Hey, hey, hey! I almost forgot. Need to tell u batchmates out there that WE had a great time last Sunday evening. Hazel was in town (she still is. She's going back to Manila this Friday).

Sign off na ko coz Sharon might get a perfect score in this name that tune game she's playing if I stay longer. Kapoy kaayo coach. Breakfast na ta Sha.
